About Me

Eva Naa Dodua Yebuah, Founder of NAADEE IN-HOUSE DESIGNS, is one of Ghana’s finest female designers of niche Afrocentric interior  products and batik and tie and dye production.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with specialty in Textile Designing from the College of Arts, University of Science & Technology, then, now Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.

Thereafter, Naa  Dodua learnt how to sew and started designing and sewing batik and tie and dye in Accra. However, her heart’s pulse was in interior design products. She enjoyed using natural and local raw materials to craft and transform various interior products into distinct Afrocentric creations.

Consequently, Naa  Dodua  worked in Artist Alliance Gallery in Accra, which is the biggest gallery in West Africa.

At the Gallery, she worked  under Prof. Ablade Glover; Ghana’s renowned painter and printmaker, known for his vibrant and expressive works, depicting Ghanaian culture and everyday life. This was a great learning opportunity for Naa  Dodua because it  gave her vast exposure into different aspects of the arts and enhanced her Afrocentric design signature.
